Climate packaging

Climatic packaging made of aluminum composite film, is the water vapor-tight packaging in which the air envelope surrounding the packaged goods, can be physically or chemically altered, for example, by adding desiccant (dehumidification) or VCI paper (chemical passivation).

Mode of action:

Specially developed composite films with a non-porous rolled aluminum insert of more than 10µ ensure extremely low water vapor diffusion. This is not temperature-dependent, but is largely constant. By adding desiccant, the relative humidity in this packaging can be kept below the critical level of 45% RH for corrosion and mold growth, if necessary for many years. This makes climate packaging a protective system for exports to the most difficult climatic zones on earth, as well as for the long-term preservation of civilian and military equipment of all kinds in general.

Application:

We prefabricate climate packaging appropriate to the product; as flat bags, box or carton inserts, machine hoods or special designs. Dimensions of any size can be manufactured. Closing of the climate packaging is done by heat sealing, simple and reliable. The desiccant addition is reliably calculated according to transport and storage duration, as well as surface of the climate packaging.
