The Muttenz-based company does not take the term passion lightly. Their service begins with professionally correct advice and measuring at the customer’s premises. This ensures that their high-value plant and machinery is properly preserved and protected from corrosion to withstand worldwide transport in perfect condition and arrive at their customers in the same condition in which they left their factory.

Customized advice
The transport professionals will discuss all the important details with you. This involves getting to know your plant so that the crate design and handling can be adapted to the transport route. After the packing location and the packing date have been fixed at the customer’s or at one of VTT’s locations, the custom-made production of the wooden crate, the wooden box or the wooden base will follow. Likewise, all other components, such as the custom-made
VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) foil hood or other protective foils are manufactured on time. Suitable padding, strapping or fixation materials are also defined.

For large objects, the company relies on the proven shrink technology. This provides optimum protection and with padding films, can also provide mechanical protection. Like a second “skin” the shrink film lies on the object.
